About this site
Overview, features and application details
TikTokYou is an unofficial modified TikTok client built by third-party developers. It is not made by TikTok or ByteDance and it has no official website. This entry explains what it is and links to an independent guide — there are no download links here.
Let's get the main point out of the way first: TikTokYou is not an official app. It is a modified version of TikTok put together by third-party developers, and it has nothing to do with TikTok or its owner, ByteDance. It circulates through APK sites and file-sharing channels rather than any official store, which is exactly why so many people search for a "TikTokYou official site" that does not exist.
What TikTokYou claims to offer
Modified clients like this usually spread on the promise of small tweaks over the stock app — things like watching without some regional limits, saving videos more easily or changing how the feed behaves. The exact feature list depends on which build you find, and builds with the same name can come from different people. There is no publisher page, no support desk and no update channel you can check.
The risks are real
A modified social app asks for the most sensitive thing you have: your account login. Builds from unknown sources can carry altered code, and TikTok can flag or ban accounts that sign in through unofficial clients. You also lose the screening that Google Play applies to the official app. If a page offers you a TikTokYou download, you have no practical way to verify who packed that file.
Why there is no download link on this page
APK01 does not link to unofficial modified apps. If you want TikTok, install the official app from Google Play — it is free and it is the only version whose updates and account safety are backed by the publisher. If you are simply curious about what TikTokYou is and how people use the name, our TikTokYou complete guide walks through it in detail.
If you already installed it
Plenty of people install a build like this before they know what it is. If that is you, the clean-up is simple. Sign out, uninstall the modified app, and install the official TikTok app. Then change your TikTok password from the official app and turn on two-step verification, so a password captured by a bad build cannot be reused. Check the "manage devices" list in settings and remove anything you do not recognise. If you typed any other password — email, banking, anything — into a page the modified app opened, change that one too, starting with your email.
APK01 is an independent guide and is not affiliated with TikTok, ByteDance or any TikTokYou developer. TikTok is a trademark of its owner.
